'First Class Travel' is strictly a Private Hire Service as opposed to a Taxi Service. Founded early in 2001, as a chauffeur driven Executive transportation service, it is based near Wantage, Oxfordshire, UK and serves both the public and corporate sectors of the community. Only prestige, executive, vehicles such as Mercedes and Jaguar saloons are employed so our passengers are assured a smooth, quiet comfortable ride.

A private hire service is similar to a taxi service with the exception that bookings are not taken 'on the street' as with hackney cabs or taxis. This means that you will not see a 'First Class Travel' car waiting at taxi ranks or otherwise waiting to be hailed. Bookings can only be made in advance by phone or fax, letter or e-mail or through personal contact.

As a relatively small, privately owned operation, 'First Class Travel' avoids many of the overhead costs associated with larger taxi companies and is therefore able to deliver an 'Executive' service which is very competitively priced

Whilst our specialities are longer distance journeys, such as airport transfers and sightseeing tours, we also undertake more localised travel in the Oxfordshire area and are favourites for wedding transportation.

Our drivers are mature, professional, and highly experienced and our vehicles are always kept in tip top condition with smoking in the cars not being allowed. First Class Travel vehicles and drivers are fully licensed, comprehensively insured and have full AA breakdown and recovery facilities at their disposal.
